Product Review: Bullet Series Sheds

In the construction industry the cost of materials can drastically effect the price of the finished product.  Over the past six years, we have seen the price of wood increase more than 35%.  During that same time period, the price of metal has increased very little.  With that in mind, why not design a shed using steel framing and steel walls to help keep the cost down?  That is how the “Bullet Series” came to be.

The flooring system is like the specs on the “Premier Series.”  2 x 6’s are notched in every 16” on center and attached to the 4 x 6 runner system.  Then the Eco-Treated 5/8” tongue and groove plywood is installed on top of the 2 x 6’s creating a very strong floor; warrantied for 25 years!

The rest of the shed is made from steel.  If you have seen an enclosed carport, then you will understand the rest of the design.  The frame work for the walls and roof are created from a 14 gauge steel tubing, making an incredibly strong building.  We then use 29 gauge steel sheets and attach to the framing to enclose the unit.  It is finished with a 5’ roll up door on the front of the building.  All the steel is warrantied for 20 years!

This unit does not have many options available.  No windows, no electrical package, no high wall option, no walk through door, and no larger roll up door option.  You can add another 5’’ roll-up door on the back of the building if you want.  The color of unit is a silver galvalume.  You can choose to change the color of the trim to one of many color options.  This unit is offered in just three sizes… 12 x 16, 12 x 20, and 12 x 24.

Although the “Bullet” lacks a menu of options, it does have a very attractive price.  This building is hurricane wind zone certified to 140 mph.  It is a simple, strong shed made to be very affordable.  If you need a good, solid, storage building, cheap… then this may be the building for you!
